Kathy is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist.  She has spent her career in acute health care, working across the continuum of care with cardiac patients and their families. Now, a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist and Certified Nurse and Wellness Coach, Kathy is working within the Mayo Clinic’s Nicotine Dependence Center, assisting patients with tobacco cessation and lifestyle change.  She works with patients in the inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings, assisting them to make the best health care decisions for themselves in tobacco cessation and relapse prevention.
