Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care, the Director of the Respiratory Unit, and Director of the Cancer Control Office at King Hussein Center (KHCC)

Dr. Feras Hawari, MD, FCCP is the Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care, the Director of the Respiratory Unit and the Director of the Cancer Control Office at King Hussein Center (KHCC). He is a Full Member in the Department of Medicine and a Permanent Member in the Executive Council of KHCC. Dr. Hawari is the Regional Director for Global Bridges in the Eastern Mediterranean Region, an expert consultant on cancer control for the WHO and for the International Atomic Energy Agency. He is active in research in the field of tobacco control. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Hawari is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
